For $1000, I'd be inclined to keep it myself as a spare for remote operations, or to use it in my workshop, but I don't think I am going to get it that cheap! At least not yet!1 -

There is something occurring with the SWR detection circuit in the Flex 6000 series. A purely resistive test (as Mike suggests) would probably not exhibit this issue. I have seen numerous 6300 and 65…1 -

Same deal. Fan and heat sink combo. You can simply unscrew the fan off the new heat sink and swap it with the existing fan.1
